Day 2
Theme: Restoring Individual Altars
Main Scripture (NKJV):
Genesis 8:20 “Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.”
Bible Reading Plan:
Genesis 8 | Psalm 63 | Romans 12
Devotional:
Altars are spiritual meeting places—where heaven and earth intersect. Throughout Scripture, altars marked moments of covenant, gratitude, repentance, and divine encounter. Before God ever made a promise to Noah concerning generations to come, Noah built an altar. Noah’s altar was not built out of obligation—it was built out of gratitude. After deliverance, his first instinct was worship.
Personal altars are foundational to corporate revival. When private devotion weakens, public power diminishes. God does not sustain corporate fire where individual altars are neglected. Prayer closets fuel pulpits. Secret devotion sustains public anointing.
God is calling every member of Redemption House Life Center to examine the state of their personal altar. Have prayer, worship, and the Word become occasional rather than consistent? Has busyness replaced intimacy? This is a season of rebuilding—not with guilt, but with grace. God restores altars so He can renew covenant encounters.
Prayer, worship, and the Word are not optional disciplines; they are lifelines. An altar neglected grows cold. An altar that is tended produces fragrance that attracts heaven. Restoration of personal altars ensures that expansion will be sustained, not short-lived.
Prayer Points
- Lord, forgive me for neglecting my personal altar.
- Restore consistency in prayer, worship, and the Word.
- Rekindle hunger for Your presence.
- Remove distractions that compete with devotion.
- Let every home connected to RHLC become an altar of worship.
Prophetic Declaration
“My altar is restored. My devotion is renewed. My life releases a fragrance that attracts the presence of God. I burn with holy fire again. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Activation & Reflection
🔥 Establish a fixed daily prayer time during the fast.
💭 Reflect: What weakened my altar—and how will I rebuild it intentionally?
Hallelujah Jesus. Looking forward to see what the will do through the 40 day fast, there is so much that happens through fasting!
I have a testimony of a 45 day fast that the Lord took through!
