Day 5
Theme: No Room for Selfishness
Main Scripture (NKJV):
Philippians 2:3–4 “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
Bible Reading Plan:
Philippians 2 | John 13:1–17 | Romans 14
Devotional:
Selfishness is subtle but destructive. It fractures unity and contaminates vision. Selfish ambition is one of the most subtle enemies of unity. It often disguises itself as passion for purpose or desire for impact. Paul warned the church that selfish ambition fractures relationships and hinders spiritual progress. Kingdom advancement requires humility and shared vision. God releases expansion where collaboration lives. RHLC commits to building God’s Kingdom—not personal platforms.
God is preparing Redemption House Life Center for greater influence. Greater influence demands greater maturity. Selfless hearts protect unity, honor leadership, and value collaboration over competition. When people serve without seeking recognition, God entrusts them with more. This is a call to serve, not compete. To cover, not criticize. To celebrate others without insecurity. Where love governs motives, unity becomes a weapon against division.
A house free of selfish ambition becomes a safe place for growth. Where humility reigns, trust increases. Where servanthood leads, God releases multiplication.
