Day 6

Theme: Purity of Motives

Main Scripture (NKJV):

Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Bible Reading Plan:

Psalm 51 | Proverbs 4:20–27 | Matthew 5:8

Devotional:

God examines motives before He releases authority. David understood that outward obedience without inward purity would eventually collapse. Talent may open doors, but purity keeps them open. Hidden intentions, unspoken agendas, and unchecked desires eventually surface. Motives shape longevity. When motives are mixed, frustration follows. When motives are pure, grace sustains through delay, pressure, and responsibility.

This is a heart-searching day. Not for condemnation, but for alignment. God purifies motives so He can trust vessels with greater weight. A steadfast spirit remains faithful even when recognition is absent and results are delayed.

As motives are purified, clarity increases. This fast allows God to cleanse motives so expansion is not corrupted. A clean heart sustains longevity. God entrusts influence to those who seek His glory above their own.
