Don’t quit five minutes before the miracle happens
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. Old things have passed away. Behold all things have become new.
Founded in 2010
Recovery Church started with just a handful of men and women who wanted to give people an option to walk the journey of recovery with other Christ followers. This gathering has touched thousands of lives and now the Recovery Church Movement has locations spreading across the country.
Recovery is a fellowship of people who desire to maintain their recovery through the principles of AA, NA, and CR while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe in the redemptive power of Christ’s love. The foundation that recovery was birthed through is freedom in Christ and the AA meetings/fellowship. All other recovery programs gleaned and followed. Recovery Church is a transparent, Christ-centered, non-judgmental body that offers recovery support and encouragement.
Recovery church is a place that all can come, all kinds of recovery that may be needed, not just physical addiction, when we think of recovery we think of drugs and alcohol but there are so many things that we need to be recovered from in our walk of life, our past hurts, our lives, our childhood traumas, and sometimes it’s eating disorders. Recovery Church is a gathering where people are looking for new patterns that will help life become more manageable. Not perfect people but teachable people.
There’s so many things that recovery is an umbrella over and if you are in any place that you are looking for something deeper and something that can help you please come visit us, you must be willing to surrender and you must be willing to accept change or things will take longer to change or should I say to long to change. Embrace your journey.
