Day 1 – Unite

Etymology – (early 15c. (transitive), from Late Latin unitus, past participle of unire “to unite, make into one” (transitive), from Latin unus “one” (from PIE root *oi-no- “one, unique”). Intransitive sense from 1610s. Related: United; uniting.)

Romans 15:5-6

5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Selah – Reflect on the beauty of unity. “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Wisdom Nugget – Just as diverse instruments in an orchestra unite to create a symphony of sound and frequency, our varied strengths, and perspectives harmonize to glorify God and shift atmospheres.
