Day 2 – Collaborate

Etymology – (1845 (implied in collaborating), “to work with another or others,” a back-formation from collaborator or else modeled on French collaborer or directly from Late Latin collaboratus, past participle of collaborare. Given a bad sense in World War II: “Cooperate traitorously with an occupying enemy.” Related: Collaborated.)

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. 10 For if one falls down, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to help him up!

Selah – Ponder the strength found in varying forms of collaboration. “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”  Is there any area that you see your brother or sister needing a helping hand?

Wisdom Nugget – Collaboration amplifies our efforts, making us resilient and lifting up one another when we should stumble.
