Day 11

Day 11

We must receive God’s grace to have a relationship with Him. If we deny grace, then we pursue God in wrong ways. God can never love us anymore then he does even if we fast more, pray more or read our Bible, He just knows that it brings us in His presence more. Just think: God’s Love never changes, and He couldn’t love us more than He already does. His love is not based on what we do, but it is based on what Jesus has done! Grace is an undeserved favor that is given to us freely.

When telling people about God’s grace, you would think it would cause people to sin more; it totally does the opposite.  If we understand the goodness of God, we will actually see that it  causes us to sin less.

We can  love God more by focusing on His love for us. We will live more holy by accident, by focusing on the goodness of God than we will by focusing on all the “thou shalt” and “thou shalt not.” I pray for a “Supernatural Grace” in your life, that you will realize how God loves you, by hearing Him call you his beloved, that He accepts you by saying that you were created in His image. Knowing He forgives, by sending His Son Jesus! You can’t earn God’s love and grace; you have to accept it, receive it, believe it, and trust in it.

Have you been looking at God through the lens of legalism and religion? Pray that the Holy Spirit will help you see God through the eyes of grace and truth given to us in Jesus Christ.

For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ! So no one will ever be able to boast, for salvation is never a reward for good works or human striving.

Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 TPT

Excerpt from The Happy Intercessor, by Beni Johnson, page 41 – “A lot of intercessors spend all of their time worrying about what the enemy will do next, but their job is to focus on God and to partner with His plans.  As an intercessor, your job is to find out what God wants to do, which is the opposite of what the enemy is saying.  Then you begin to pray what God wants.  You don’t allow the enemy to bring distraction.  You have to make a choice not to partner with fear.” – Beni Johnson

Papa God, we praise Your Holy Name.  Your grace has saved us by the faith that You gave each one of us a measure of.  We now stand trusting You to get us through every battle in our lives. It is such a precious thing that salvation was a gift from You, Father God and we can never take the credit or be rewarded for our good works or human striving.  This gift of salvation gives us total access to Your Kingdom and we declare by faith that we receive this gift.  It is truly the best gift we can receive.  The gift with a promise to live with Papa God for eternity, all because He sent His son Jesus! Hallelujah! Amen!
