DAY 4 – DEVOTIONAL

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. During times of fasting, it is a great time to purge things that are in our souls; which are our mind, will, and emotions.  What things do you feel could be distractions or hindrances to your temple being holy and pure? Are there interferences that are affecting your ability to hear from the Father and His heart and what to pray during intercession?

“Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary.” 1 Corinthians 6:19 TPT

Heavenly Father, we ask You to bring renewal in the inward parts of our being.  Refresh us, Oh God, and ignite us once again for things that are Holy and Pure. Those inward and secret parts of us that no one else knows, but You know Oh Lord; the washing of the Word we need in us.  Send Your tsunami of the living Word over the tops of our heads, over our garments, over our feet, cleansing our path in the way forward. Bring us into complete bliss in Your presence and shift the configuration of our inward atmosphere to align with all of You. Bring us back to intimacy with You, Papa God. In Jesus’ name, amen.
